Discover the balanced sweetness and classic profile of Guatemala Los Huipiles SHB 2025 green coffee beans. Sourced from the high mountains of Huehuetenango, this washed coffee highlights the rich volcanic soils and high-altitude growing conditions that make Guatemalan coffees highly regarded among home roasters and specialty coffee enthusiasts.

The Los Huipiles regional blend represents small farming communities throughout Huehuetenango, with each producer contributing to a cup profile known for sweetness, structure, and balance. This Strictly Hard Bean (SHB) lot offers a smooth, approachable cup with layered chocolate notes, soft fruit character, and mild acidity.

Guatemalan Coffee Quality

This coffee is classified as SHB (Strictly Hard Bean), meaning it was grown at high elevations where cooler temperatures allow cherries to mature more slowly. This extended maturation helps create denser beans with improved sweetness, structure, and cup quality.

The washed process further enhances clarity and balance, producing a clean and approachable cup profile that works well across a wide range of roast levels and brewing methods.

Enjoy the classic character of Guatemalan coffee with this Huehuetenango regional blend — a smooth and balanced cup featuring cocoa sweetness, nutty undertones, and gentle fruit acidity.

IF THERE IS A NEED TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM

  • We will need the serial number, found on the underside of the base unit, starting with 540 or 800.
  • Shipping or mailing address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Pictures of the damage if filing a warranty claim for a roast chamber or top assembly.

IS YOUR MACHINE NOT HOT ENOUGH?

  • Verify that you are getting 120-122 Volts to the roaster without any extension cords.
  • The ambient air temp is not below 55*F.  Cool temps will result in low heat output.
  • Make sure your roast profile includes lowering the fan speed as the beans roast to increase the chamber temperature.
  • Running too few beans can result in heat not building up in the roast chamber.  Minimum of  3 Scoops, 3 OZ, or  85 Grams for both SR540 and SR800.
