Improved Airflow and Roast Efficiency
The SR540 and SR800 Extension Tube are the same model and fit both roasters. This 10.25" glass extension tube improves bean movement and airflow when used with the original roasting chamber and chaff basket.
By increasing chamber height and optimizing air velocity, the extension tube allows the roaster to operate at lower fan and heat settings as beans lose weight during roasting. Many users finish around Fan 2 / Heat 1, depending on the environment and voltage conditions.
This upgrade is especially useful for customers roasting in cooler environments or with slightly lower supply voltage.
