Love This So Much I Bought a 2nd One

"Let's face it: There is no other home roaster out there that competes with the SR800 for quality, roast control, and price. I've had mine for about 4 years and upgraded to the extension tube about a 3 years ago. That made a pretty good experience A GREAT ONE. Thank you HRS for such a wonderful product! John M"

Refurbished SR800

"Moved up from an SR540 so I kind of knew what to expect, but I was still pleasantly surprised! First, if I didn't know it was refurbished I wouldn't have known! Truly good as new. Second, the extra capacity is exactly what I wanted and the move was definitely worth it, Third, packaging, shipping, instructions and support were top shelf. Fantastic Home Roasting Supplies!"

Great roaster

"I have no idea why this was sold as a refurbished machine. It is in perfect shape. My first roast while not perfect was very good and I have been enjoying it immensely."

Nice control of temperature, love the thermostat

"Nice improvements from the SR500. My SR500 roasted about 40# beans a year. 2 people. I can double my roasting with the 800. I like the controls with the temperature display. I have a better idea of what my roasting level based on the temperature levels."

I'm a customer for life

"This company is outstanding! I ordered a roaster, but after two weeks, it seemed lost with USPS. When I inquired about the tracking not updating, they promptly sent me a replacement. They simply asked that if the original one arrived, I return it using the prepaid label they provided. The very next day, the first roaster was delivered, and when the second one arrived, we sent it back. Exceptional customer service!"

An Excellent Purchase!

"This is my second SR800 with the extension tube. I decided to get a second one, because I did have a motor fail after 1 1/2 years. Despite how amazing the repair turn around was, I realized I don't want to resort to using the air popper again, due to a complete lack of control over the roast. The refurb unit was perfect! I couldn't find any evidence of ever being used. What a deal!! The shipping was crazy fast, despite using the least expensive method. Thank you!!!"

Makes Home Roasting Easy

"I got into roasting through a popcorn popper, and I got surprisingly tasty results. But this is several steps up, giving me control over heat and fan speed, and adding a cooling cycle at the end. My first couple of roasts were so much easier, and the coffee speaks for itself. I'm looking forward to experimenting with different roast profiles and beans to make each morning an adventure."

Q&A

Do you chip to Colombia?
Yes, Please send a private message to our email and we can work on the details.
Do you have plans to ever make a 240v 50/60hz version for overseas customers?
Hopefully in 2025, there will be a model that can run on 240V.
I need the chaff collector for sr 540 Can I get it from you ?
Yes, we have them right here (https://www.homeroastingsupplies.com/collections/parts/products/sr540-sr800-chaff-basket)
Hello, if I ship to Germany, do I need import duties? And also, what would be the benefit of an extension tube for the 800 model?
Many factors to think about when trying to use in Germany, supply voltage will be critical, step down transformers are not always reliable and can damage the internal fuses. You will need to pay duty when you import the machine. Ext tube will help if you step down transformer is only 110V output as this machine needs 120V to properly roast.

For all orders exceeding a value of $150 shipping is offered for free.

Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unused items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email (support@homeroastingsupplies.com) before you return the item.

Otherwise, standard shipping charges apply. Check out our delivery Terms & Conditions for more details.

IF THERE IS A NEED TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM

  • We will need the serial number, found on the underside of the base unit, starting with 540 or 800.
  • Shipping or mailing address
  • Contact Phone Number
  • Pictures of the damage if filing a warranty claim for a roast chamber or top assembly.

IS YOUR MACHINE NOT HOT ENOUGH?

  • Verify that you are getting 120-122 Volts to the roaster without any extension cords.
  • The ambient air temp is not below 55*F.  Cool temps will result in low heat output.
  • Make sure your roast profile includes lowering the fan speed as the beans roast to increase the chamber temperature.
  • Running too few beans can result in heat not building up in the roast chamber.  Minimum of  3 Scoops, 3 OZ, or  85 Grams for both SR540 and SR800.
