The Fresh Roast SR900 combines the hands-on control Fresh Roast users know with connected roasting through the Roast-Tech app.

Use the SR900 directly from its physical control panel, or connect a compatible Windows computer, Mac, iPhone, or iPad for real-time bean-temperature graphing, custom roast profiles, automatic profile execution, and connected manual control.

The SR900 is designed for both newer home roasters looking for more guidance and experienced users who want better visibility, repeatability, and control.

Real-Time Bean-Temperature Graphing

The SR900 includes a bean-temperature probe that allows Roast-Tech to display live temperature information throughout the roast.

Monitor how changes to heat and airflow affect the beans and use the graph to better understand each stage of the roasting process, including development timing after first crack.

Roast-Tech can display:

• Heat and fan settings

• Roast stages and profile changes
• DTR (Development Time Ratio) tracking, showing the percentage of total roast time spent in the development phase after first crack

Create Repeatable Roast Profiles

Build custom roast profiles using timed heat and fan adjustments.

Once you create a successful profile, you can save it and run it again for greater consistency between batches.

Profiles can also be exported and imported using CSV files, allowing profiles to be backed up or shared with other SR900 users.

Local Storage and No Subscription

Roast profiles and user information are stored locally on the computer, iPhone, or iPad used to create them.

The SR900 does not require cloud storage or a paid subscription to use Roast-Tech.

How Profile Storage Works

• Profiles are created and stored locally on your connected device.
• One profile can be transferred to and stored directly on the SR900.
• Once transferred, the roaster can execute that profile without remaining connected.
• If Bluetooth disconnects during a stored-profile roast, the SR900 continues running the programmed profile.
• Manual adjustments can still be made using the roaster’s physical controls.
