The SR540 and SR800 Extension Tube are the same model and fit both roasters. This 10.25" glass extension tube improves bean movement and airflow when used with the original roasting chamber and chaff basket.
By increasing chamber height and optimizing air velocity, the extension tube allows the roaster to operate at lower fan and heat settings as beans lose weight during roasting. Many users finish around Fan 2 / Heat 1, depending on the environment and voltage conditions.
This upgrade is especially useful for customers roasting in cooler environments or with slightly lower supply voltage.

The SR800 is designed to roast up to 8 oz (226 g) of wet-processed green coffee.
The SR540 is designed to roast up to 4 oz (120 g) of wet-processed green coffee.
Exceeding recommended batch sizes may clog the chaff basket and increase risk of chaff fire. Always monitor chaff buildup and adjust batch size as needed.
Do not leave the roaster unattended while in operation.
